Good job! Very through and well produced! Audio and lighting was very good, probably the only aftermarket antenna install on YouTube that we found useful...
A 3rd camera with lighting directly over your work would have been optimal, You can always zoom in with your editing software then when you want to emphasize
    your intended actions...

I need to ask you a question about the typhoon h pro ST16 controller. On the upper left screen of the st16 controller it shows the voltage being "15.4 or 2 bars left on the battery for the drone but then a battery warning signal will pop up on the screen saying battery is low whiles still showing 2 bars left". How do I fix this problem because its showing two different information for the battery in drone

I recently bought my Typhoon H pro realsense and should be receiving it in the next few days, my question is I would like to buy a tool kit so when I get it, I can install the external antenna on the drone its self. whats the name of the tool kit your using and where can i purchase it at. I don't want to buy the wrong tools and having to send it back.

Sparky can also suggest you rename the video to make it more searchable and easier to find on YouTube?
"YUNEEC TYPHOON H EXTERNAL ANTENNA KIT MOD"
By including all these keywords it will be easier to find your video and you'll get more hits...

I designed these antennas myself and had them produced by a leading manufacturer after "hijacking" the idea from Bo Lorentsen The FPV Guy. They are specifically tuned to the H's 2.4 gHz frequency. It is not a diversity system nor is it dedicated to telemetry data; it's actually two separate "channels" one for control signal the other for telemetry data.

They also outperform the the external antennas found on the H Pro with the advantage of being removable and they protrude downward 5mm less than the original; being the shortest 1/2 wave dipoles available anywhere.

The pigtail extension cables are double shielded low loss coaxial cable and all contact points are gold plated along with a highly RF transparent radrome material on the dipoles themselves.

Simply put; nothing else will outperform my system period! I also designed the new ITELITE antenna for the ST16+ and both systems were intended to work together.

I can guarantee 3km range under normal circumstances and as much as 6km under ideal conditions. The antenna array in the ITELITE is tuned to allow for the same range capabilities on all three "channels" control signal, telemetry data and video downlink. Basically when video starts to break up it's also about the time you'll be needing to come home because control signal and telemetry data are only a couple hundred metres away form dropping out.

The ITELITE also has a wide beam width so you have the ability to fly virtually anywhere within the 180deg plane ahead of you at distance but still maintains a connection behind you at close range.

Coupled with the true omnidirectional signal spread of the External Antenna Kit on the H this is a bulletproof system and very modular and affordable.

The FPVLR antennas for the ST16 are more expensive @ $75ea and you'll need three, the beam angle on the 5.8gHz antenna is narrower and not matched to the range of the 2.4gHz antennas. There is no proprietary mounting system and the antennas are much larger than the ITELITE's flat panel design.

Yes the FPVLR system will offer approximately 250m more range for which I see no real world gain in having for the additional expense and a larger more ungainly form factor. If less than 10% more range is that important to you then buy the FPLR system for $100 more.

If you're happy with a 3km range, a lightweight integrated and matched system, with a wide operational beam angle then the ITELITE is the winner all the way and my personal choice because I designed it.

Anyone in the US can purchase both systems from Frank at Carolina Dronz or from myself if you're in Europe:

    HELLO SPARKY
HAVE YOU HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH
THE FPVLR ANTENNAS FOR THE TYPHOON H ?
I HAVE THE TYPHOON H AND WAS THINKING ABOUT
    TRYING THOSE ANTENNAS.

Great video showing how to take it apart and do this, I own the Pro and it has 3 antenna's already but it does help on showing how to take it apart.

Is the issue with the Telemetry not as bad with the RealSense model? The one that actually comes with the RealSense? It seems that the RealSense model has more antennas.
